We are proud to introduce the new $1.2 million public facility…Rockdale Tennis Center. Rockdale County hosted a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Ceremony in July 2009. The facility includes 14 hard courts, 10 of which are lighted, ample parking and pro-shop services. The Tennis Center is located on seven acres and is adjacent to Wheeler Park, which offers a covered pavilion with picnic tables, grills and restrooms and a playground.  Rockdale Tennis Center is home to over 100 adult and junior ALTA and USTA teams.

 Rockdale Tennis Center is home to eleven tournaments including four USTA sanctioned events. Our partnership with Georgia State University Men's Tennis will help establish RTC as one of the premier tennis facilities in Metro Atlanta. RTC will host three GSU dual matches during the spring season. Also, the GSU staff will conduct 6 weeks of  Jr. Summer Camps for our youth. We have partnered with Hobson Performance Tennis Academy to offer elite training to our local junior tournament and high school players. Our Pro Shop services/products include all essentials to help with your game. We have an assortment of strings, grips, balls, nutritional bars/drinks, and soon to have racquets and clothing. We can special order anything to need!! We guarantee 24 hour turn around on stringing. Our staff includes eight teaching professionals. We offer private, semi private, group/team lessons as well as social mixers, drop ins for our adults and juniors.
